How to Set Up Your First Reminder in Under 5 Minutes

June 1, 2025
Best Practices

One of the core principles behind AI Collectify is Zero-Friction Setup. We believe you shouldn't need a technical degree or a week of training to start automating your payment reminders. This guide will walk you through the entire process, from signup to sending your first reminder, in less time than it takes to brew a pot of coffee.

1

Add Your First Client

After signing up, the first step is to tell AI Collectify who to contact. You can add a client (or "debtor") manually by entering their name, email, invoice number, amount due, and due date.

Power User Tip: You can also upload a CSV file with multiple clients at once or connect your Stripe account to sync invoices automatically. For now, let's stick with a single manual entry to see how fast it is.

2

Choose a Template & Tone

You don't need to write anything from scratch. Navigate to our Template Library and choose a starting point. For a first reminder, something from the "Friendly" category works well.

Our AI will pre-fill the invoice details. You just need to select a tone—Friendly, Neutral, or Firm—and the system handles the rest, ensuring professional and effective language.

3

Review and Schedule

This is the final checkpoint. You'll see a preview of the exact email that will be sent. Review it to make sure everything is correct.

Next, set the schedule. You can choose to send it immediately or schedule it for a future date, such as the day the invoice is due. The system can also automatically schedule follow-ups.

Our intelligent scheduling will recommend the best times to send reminders for maximum impact, based on industry data.

And That's It!

You've just scheduled your first automated, professionally-written payment reminder. The entire process is designed to take just a few minutes, freeing you up to focus on what you do best.
